KARES
Helping Underprivileged Kids
KARES is a non-profit organization that aims to help underprivileged kids with their activity or sport fees at any institution at EVERY level of participation. Our objective is to provide a platform for all kids to have the ability to compete at their highest level. We believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to showcase their talent, regardless of their financial background.

KARES is a 501C-3 organization. We offer 25%, 50%, and full scholarships. These are done on an application process. There are automatic qualifiers including homelessness, not guardian in the household, etc.
DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE WITH KARES 501C3 STATUS
Our mission is to create a level playing field for all aspiring athletes and to provide support to young, low-income athletes to help them become the best they can be. With our funds, we aim to sponsor young athletes from low-income backgrounds to help them achieve their dreams of excelling in sports.
WHY KARES?
KARES understands the importance of youth feeling a sense of belonging, support, and accomplishment to mental health. Mental health of our youth must be protected and KARES truly believes if youth are a part of a team, gym, dance group, theater, etc. they are far less likely for suicide and other mental health problems. At KARES, we believe in transparency in all our operations. We ensure that all our financial transactions are recorded and made available for public scrutiny. We want our donors to be confident that their contributions are making a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged kids.
Collaboration
We work closely with schools and sports institutions to identify young athletes who need financial support to pursue their dreams. We collaborate with coaches and trainers to provide the necessary equipment, training, and guidance to our sponsored athletes.
Community
We are committed to helping Utah youth to reach their full potential in athletics and beyond. We want athletes to contribute and give back to the community they support. Being able to participate in sports will tie kids to their communities to make them a better place.
